Review highlights

Based on 167 reviews

Forno Magico receives consistent praise for its authentic Italian offerings, particularly pasta and pizza, which many find flavorful and well-prepared given the airport setting. The restaurant’s ambiance is frequently described as cozy yet elegant, creating a welcoming environment for travelers. Service reviews are generally positive, highlighting attentive and knowledgeable staff, though some customers note a self-service ordering system that may affect expectations. While most find the food quality and presentation satisfactory, a few mention inconsistencies in dish execution, such as sauce texture. Pricing, especially for drinks, is noted as on the higher side, reflecting the airport location. Overall, Forno Magico is regarded as a solid choice for travelers seeking quality Italian cuisine before flights.

The service was quick enough, efficient & the food presented in a lovely manner. The pasta entree I ordered was soupy, the sauce was not thickened at all. But other than that- salad and drink were good enough. They are not cheap with the liquor bc in tipsy halfway through the drink- I’m not an alcoholic but enjoy weekend drinks if that helps gauge your expectations $60 for one side salad, cocktail and pasta entree

This restaurant is truly a pasta lover’s dream come true! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm smiles, the comforting aroma of fresh herbs and garlic, and an atmosphere that feels both cozy and elegant. Every visit has been an outstanding experience, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best places to enjoy authentic, flavorful pasta dishes. The food is absolutely incredible. Every pasta dish tastes homemade — fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. The noodles are tender but not overdone, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients in every single dish. The sauces are rich, balanced, and made from scratch — whether it’s creamy Alfredo, zesty marinara, or a deep, flavorful bolognese, each one feels like it’s been simmered with care and passion. My favorite is the [you can personalize here — “fettuccine Alfredo” / “spaghetti carbonara” / “shrimp scampi”] — it’s absolutely divine! The sauce coats every strand of pasta perfectly, and the flavors are out of this world. The portions are generous, and every bite makes you want to savor it slowly so it lasts a little longer.

**Restaurant Review** We stopped by this restaurant while waiting for our flight, and overall, it was a great choice. We ordered pizza, coffee, and a salad, and everything was ready surprisingly quickly. The pizza was delicious, with an especially flavorful and perfectly crispy crust. The salad was fresh, and the coffee was a nice touch to round out the meal. While the food was tasty and the service efficient, the prices were a bit on the higher side. Still, it was a pleasant experience, and we’d recommend it if you don’t mind paying a little extra for good quality.

I'm not sure where all the poor service grief comes from on these reviews. You have to scan the QR code, pick your food/drinks, pay and a server will bring it to your table. Our server Demond was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. Pizza was good, particularly from an airport quality perspective. The atmosphere was elegant yet warm and cozy.

I typically avoid airport pizza like the plague, but this place has me thinking that may be an errant overgeneraIization. I didn't have the service issues mentioned quite a bit before, my service experience was quite the opposite; communicative and supportive. The most important thing was the pizza delivered, pun not even considered until typing this review. If there is a guy named George on the oven, the pizza will be good, I've watched many cooks across the globe and this guy is a huge asset because he is focused, consistent, and gives a you know what.

It's been a long while since I trekked through Houston's George Bush Intercontinental airport. Today, I appetite brought me to Forno Magico located in the C terminal. With appetizer offerings such as Italian wedding soup and wonderfully sized pizzas, I opted to sample a few choice items. I started off with the bowl of Italian wedding soup and the garlic knots(wonderful baked bread with garlic and olive oil) and went all in for the sausage and mushroom pizza. From the eclectic decorum to the brick oven style for pizza, Forno Magico delivered on food and service. Give them a try next time you are traveling through Houston. Pro diner tip: If you fly United and have miles accrued, you can pay for your dining experience with your United Miles(I did for my meal experience).
